MIR 3/23/09 Rental LAST TRY!

So the weather hasn't been cooperating with us to get a rental going but here is my last attempt at a rental in March before it starts to get too warm. There will be a big two lane rental Monday March 23rd. This gives enough advance notice for people to get off of work.

Secondly, for the hardcore racers I am considering doing a single lane rental this friday March 6th. If you are interested in this please let me know asap so I can call and reserve the track. Only need ~10 people for this option.

I am in for Friday. What are they doing about the 9"s of snow? Is it contingent on the snow melting by then?

Cool. Yes the snow would need to melt. I talked to Jason at MIR a second ago and he said there is still snow on the track but he pushed it around with the tractor yesterday and will try again today. Supposed to be sunny from now til friday so lets hope it melts! A High of 50 tomorrow and sunny will help.

Everything on my end is 100% sure. I wish I could predict if the snow will have melted or not but I can't tell, sorry. I understand how frustrating it is being in your position and I wish I could do something about it

Morning update:

There is still snow at the track as of now. Left lane is clear and worst case scenario is we will have to make a run and then come back down the track to staging lanes. We would have to wait for each car to come all the way back before the next run. That is the WORST case scenario. We should get plenty of snow melted today and tonight due to the high temps and sunny during the day. In other words we are running tomorrow!

well the temps are supposed to rise close to 50 f here today so hopefully it will all melt.

I will try to get it started as soon as possible for you. The party starts now but the track prep all depends on MIR. Supposedly 9 so that means 930-10ish

i cant take off tomorrow right now lol. i would loved to come and hang out, if i did come i would leave right about now it a 5hr drive for me, but im deff making the trip for the 23, hopefully if it dont get rained out again, also by then i should have some more goodies in my car.

edit: i hope you go 10's tomorrow im so upset i wont be there for it. best of luck

Have you guys been tracking the weather for the 23rd? As of right now according to weather.com the forecast is Sunny High of 51 and Low of 39 with 0% chance of precipitation! Ready for some new records???

Lets hope the forecast comes true

Been trying not to look at that since I dont want to be dissappointed if their forecast dont come true!

I will be there with my GTR. I know my business partner is bringing his GTR, a friend of ours is bringing a Hennessey GTS Viper and another friend hopefully will bring his SRT/10 Supercharged Viper too. JimmyP is bringing his GTR. It is going to be bad ass weather on Monday
