Just hit 146,000 miles on mine. I leave home and half a mile i'm on highway. When I leave work 2 miles and I'm on a highway.
Mine are all highway miles and my work times has helped me a lot.
I'm always opposite of rush hour lol
When I'm going to work-my opposite sides are packed and when I'm coming back -it's late at night and highways are moving at normal
speeds.
Really grateful for this car. Supercharger gets engaged twice everyday lol - when I'm getting on the highway and that's it lol

2006 E55, currently at 143k. Bought it a few weeks ago with 140k. Perfect for long distance trips, size, power, comfort and stealth. Looks like a 10 year old benz, which isn't a bad thing, but I never stick out attention wise.
I'm going to drive this until the engine blows up.
Then rebuild or put a different engine in it and do it again. Can't believe you are getting a near 100k car for 10% or so.

Awesome, enjoy it. Used engines really aren't that expensive! I have to admit the engine and trans is the last thing on my mind, it's all the other bits that start breaking! Damn power rear shade, haven't seen one that still works that hasn't been replaced!

So hopefully you get a good deal. and if you are coming from a Subaru platform (your signature)- and have snow where you live-I'd highly suggest save for good snow tires or better yet-keep a beater for winter.
I'm wondering these cars going out for such cheap prices. A student who's first car would've been a civic can now be a 500hp monster.

I hope you are not buying the car just because it's for 9k because repairs are still going to be the same cost as of a 100k car lol -always keep a rainy day fund.

I have the carfax, it was dealer maintained from day one at the same dealer in Oakland, and it's a 1 Owner car. The seats are pretty worn, which is no big deal, but I'm pretty excited about getting it. Things got pushed back to this upcoming Wednesday. I'll post if I get it and how it is in person.

I have CLS55 not an E but apart from the aesthetics its basically the same car. I have 116k on mine! If your looking to buy make sure you leave yourself some extra $$$$$ for maintenance and repairs most company's don't offer 10+ year warranty's for a reason.

I own a European auto repair shop, so I'm not worried about what the car will need. I really plan to make a project out of it, and have the wow factor when people see the odometer.
