Definitely a vacuum leak some where in the intake tract. Check all the hoses, remove air box and check the rubber hose by the fuel rail inlet.

Sometimes, the simpliest fixes are over looked. Just replace your gas cap!

I had a check engine light come on. I took it into an INDY shop and they told me MAS sensor was bad. So they reset and I was on my way. Later in the evening I gave the car a WOT pull and bling light appears again. When I pulled up into the drive way I opened the hood and heard a hissing sound coming from the rear driver side in the engine bay. Since it was dark and the car was hot I left it for the morning. First thing the next day I went back for a look where the hissing sound was coming from and Low and Behold a loose rubber tube. I connected it back to a steal tube that it got loose from, did the sneaky ecu reset...bingo light gone. I ended up buying a small clamp and that resolved the issue.

I thought the E55 don't use MAS?
