My E55 with Vossen CV2 wheels!

I've had these wheels sitting in my garage for a week or so. I've been waiting for the right size lug bolts to arrive. Sure enough, they came in today and after a Sugar Free Red Bull... I preceded to put them on.

I got these off eBay from a guy who had them on his 2010 E-Class. The offsets are different so I had to put 15mm spacers on to clear the calipers and fill the fenders. These are staggered but still 1/2" narrower than the CV2's with the proper offset.

Special thanks to xpl0sive and maxwerks for helping me get my old wheels off. hehe

First off... here's what I had on before. Maya DLS's.

Now... with Vossen CV2's. MUCH BETTER!!!

Oddly, the centercaps of the rears are poking out. I'll have to ask Vossen if they make some that will fit.

Now it needs lowered.....BAD!

Why do those rear lugs stick out so far? Not a fan of that at all. Looks like a semi!

Haha! I didn't even notice the lugs sticking out. They are flush, I know that. My guess is that the concave doesn't allow the lugs to sit very far in. Looking at the Vossen gallery, another E55's lugs don't stick out, although they are not as inset as the fronts. But they probably have the proper offset.

These pics are not the best. Bright, direct sunlight casts lots of shadows. I'll wait for a day with overcast and take better pics.

They look good!!!!!! Yeah, I'm wondering if the different offsets/ combined with the spacers make the lugs stick out like that. . .mine are pretty flush on the rear and more inset, like you said, in the front. . .Once again- Congrads on the new wheels!!!!!!

Yeah, it's the spacer causing it. Looks much better than the Maya's though.
