Well ummmm kinda. Got my Jerry Euro TCU.
Fun fun.
Watch the revs gents. I pussed out in taking it all the way to 7K.
6800 good enough for me and think she will go through the traps now in 3rd on my 2.82 gears.
Put it up to HD and enjoy.
REMEMBER I am up at near 6000ft DA everyday. She doesn't accelerate quite like you sea levelers but for me ....pants pissing fun. Thanks Jerry!!!

Jerry's coming up to Dallas this weekend to tune a CL600 and will be doing my TCU as well. Not sure who else is in DFW that wants to get this done as well, but Jerry may have time to do yours too! Let me know and I'll ask him if he can include any more TCU tunes.

You can still hear the torque management doing it's thing during the shift ( engine quiets down and then roars again...don't know if it's the throttle that closes for a split second or if it's the SC that disengages ). Can this be eliminated? I want the car to shift like this:

Maybe I'm asking too much.

Get a performance valve body, it will shift faster and slam you on shifts from whatever it is they do. Paramount Performance does them for the SRT-8 vehicles which have same 722.6 transmissions as us with little changes to clutch material and solenoids since they don't come with as much hp/tq. The Valve body is basically the same and Bill has done E55 valve bodies before and performance transmissions also that were put in E55s.

It is $600 from Paramount Performance to have yours done. They have a stage 1 for lower power at $500 and for 500+hp the stage 2 for $600. Not aware of a "diy," you would have to know what they use/do to change it. All the Chrysler guys who have got it done praise it though. Said they went from lazy shifts to chirping 3rd.

Everywhere I have read (across car platforms) they say it will make the transmission last longer. I guess because of the increased torque when modifying the car it makes the clutches slip more between shifts but modifying the holes in the seperator plate it allows the fluid to move quicker and not drag out the shift (for a more smooth feeling) but allow the clutches to lock up faster for a faster shift and less slip prolonging the life of the clutches. Springs are also changed to modify the valve bodies but I don't know exactly what is done by Paramount Performance to their stage 2 but I would assume they do both of these things. I suppose something else could always break, but people have said they had transmissions that would slip and were worn out and put in a performance valve body and the transmission worked great again.

Good lord that sounds mean. What mods do you have and what track times is your car putting down? I already feel my wallet getting lighter...
