While on the topic of using the Iphone to play music, is there anyway to get better quality output from the phone itself?

Say if I"m using pandora?

The sound quality from my ipod connected via oem ipod integration sounds as good as a cd...

It seems like using pandora, the bass isnt there like it is playing sat radio. It does seem clear, just doesnt hit as much.

yup, that's why I'm surprised - the previous owner said he could never really get it working right...

maybe it needs some SDS love?

probably has to do with the Pandora compression of their music?

as mentioned before, I bought the car from a private seller - although Lynnwood had a very comparable '03 for the same price... so I could see how it could be mistaken for mine

I used Lynnwood for my PPI as they're the recommended MB dealer for PPI in the Seattle area. The previous owner had all service done at Barrier Mercedes - but they didn't do PPPIs or I would have used them.

overall - Lynnwood was fantastic, I bought the extended warranty through them and had my valve cover gaskets repaired by them (so I could get a clean inspection for the warranty)...

Great staff, and great service - they even discounted the labor, and did my lower grill clips for free (some broken ones).

Definitely check them out!
