Lightbulb 35% looking dark on Silver...

The wife surprised me and got some tint on the E55 yesterday...
took a pic this morning, overcast day- looks much darker than expected!

it's much lighter than what I'm used to, had 18%, 20% and 5% previously on other cars... hopefully it will help when it's 110 outside

I always tint my cars 35% all around. it can be light when you want it to be and dark if you put up a sunshade and cover the roof shade.

I'll have to check what brand, I'm thinking 20% in back would be a little better - but going to drive it for a while... not looking to totally black it out now - kindof past that phase

Interior color goes a long way in how light or dark the tint appears. A light tan interior or white makes tint seem a lot less dark, whereas a dark interior can make 35% look almost like 5% depending on the angles of the light coming at your car.

Nice......you know you can always tint the windshield 38-40% it will be light enough not to draw police attention but darken the rest. I have 20% on my sides and 38 on the windshield.

no joke - my last car had tan interior and with 20% did look lighter but it was white exterior so it was pretty stark in comparison...

I did have 20% on the windshield - the guy did a great job, nice curved line and MUCH nicer now not having to squint in the sun maybe the windshield was replaced before, but do all Mercedes windshields not have any tint on the upper portion of the windshield?

toadster are you going to get a trunk lip spoiler? I am looking actually and wanted the smallest lip made maybe smaller than the 63--really the 63 style seems most popular. Have you had any luck?

I go 35% around with 50% on windshield and I only use Huper Optik Windows Films. You have to see the heat demo and you'll know why. The heat rejection is unreal. Plus the tint is polarized so it's like wearing Maui Jim sunglasses. Personal Preference.

Those are nice too, I like the rear lip.

I'm thinking about doing a concave look since I've always done wheels with a lip. I really like how the wheels in sig look
