The M157 never seizes to impress....
Here is a RENNtech modified W212 Non-Performance package E63 hit 11.15 @ 126.7 mph in Florida heat (80F, 80% humidity, 1200 ft DA) with TUNE-ONLY (stock tires, stock exhaust, stock filters, etc...).
In just a little better weather, I really think that car could've hit 10s. Here is the link to the full story, enjoy

If they add PP carbon ceramic brakes that E63 is def 10.9x ALL day long in fair weather impressive... + That Trap speed is really closer to 127 mph @ 126.76 after PP option, some proper wheels/tires/Dwn Pipes/CAI/ 100 oct ECU/that's 130 + mph car!

Picking up 10mph and erasing 1 second in the quarter mile is pretty impressive for a "tune only". Stock tires.......really?
I cannot wait to see what a Kleemann tuned car will run.

This is why I have two of these engines already. And another place where Benz got it right is with the sound. Take off the resonator and wow----- amazing.

+1. With these types of speeds, I'm tempted to migrate to the (V8) twin turbo platform.
Itching to see spy shots of the 2013 W212 facelift, supposedly significant styling changes coming this Summer that look much cleaner and less busy.

Great to see manufacturers raise the bar on their builds. Nothing but good news coming from the TT platform. The potential once the tuning firms get hold of it will be amazing.
Mofetti- What are you talking about looking for places to drive your beast !!!
I was just out in your neck of the woods to visit my friend that moved to
Tiburon from Atlanta. We raced together for a number of years in Atlanta and he is psyched at all of the great tracks in California.
Now, as for the public roads, we took his 458 Italia out for about six hours all back around the vineyard areas where the roads have some nice twisties and straights and ate up a ton of concrete.
You are in a great spot out there in the Bay area. I am sure you wil find some nice spots to let the car loose.

What's funny & not out of the question, imagine if/when they get the 550 ECU tune dialed in to be about = to most of the stage 4-5 E55's on here You guys will be lining up to sell after running neck to neck or worse by E550 on the streets...

Word, that should be worth a couple tenths alone.... RENNtech squeezed 530 HP 606 TQ (crank #'s) outt've it, that'll def put a smackdown (ALL else being equal ie same Dyno or track same day etc) on bone STOCK E55, & run dead even or slightly faster than stage 1-2 E55..

Geld 2, I know the year & who's tuned it. I said & meant
+ there's a myriad of other Tuners, some seem to be popping up monthly on the new V8 BITURBO platform who've yet to crack it, or run it much much more aggressively & add some real boost.. Read a bit slower bud..

stock CLS550TT VS stock E55k:
the CLS was on the tail of E55k, it is true that CLS had less crank hp but on the wheel they are very close due to the 7 speed MCT of the CLS.
so a 530 crank hp will be worth of about 470rwhp and through the whole band like the 63TT, i expect 530hp 550tt engines to be faster than stage 2 E55k ( pulley + tune ).
i hate when everyone calculate crank hp based on old drivetrain loss.
stock 471rwhp * 9.8% more = 517.5 cranck hp ( and this is the draivetrain loss confirmed by AMG engineers )
no one again should claim crank hp wether stock or tuned unless they remove the engine from a car and put it on " engine dyno ".
PITS is that they claculated it after it is tuned with the right drivetrain loss
621.9 * 9.8% more = 680 crank hp.

Props and truth that AMG literally IGNITED the horsepower wars with the W211 55 but let's just be honest. This new W212 kicks our cars a$$es on just about everything. It's handling would makes us break down and cry, with a simple push of a button it's near 700hp that it can run on flawlessly for years (amg knew damn well what we were getting with that tune...sheet it was FROM a guy at AMG).....and the damn tranny...ohhhh that tranny. I honestly think that if you timed the gear shifts on ALL 7 gear changes. It would be less than or perhaps even with the time it takes for ONE change of 1st-2nd with the slushy machines.
