It is the exact same module. Renntech bought them from this distributor and put there name on them and sold them for double.

Okay maybe I was exaggerating, but you can tuck all of the tire.

It all depends on where your car is set when you install it. If your car is lowered by STAR, it will slam it to the ground. If your car is stock, it will lower it nicely but not dump it on the ground. The elm only lowers from whatever the stock settings are when it is put on. So if you are STAR lowered, it thinks that is stock so it lowers from there.

Curious how much lower this ELM will get me... I already tuck tire on all 4 corners.

Does anyone know if you can completely deflate the bags when you park with this ELM? I want to be able to sit on bump stops while at a show...

If you are that tucked, it will put it on the floor. Search my CLS55 pics. That car was SLIGHTLY lowered STAR before the ELM install. My rear exhaust sat on the ground when I dumped it.

SO Marcus if i star lower my car now will it sit lower or would i have to had it star lowered before the elm. I was thinking about that the other day how i would like it to sit on the floor when i am parked?

So...two of you selling it so far, any particular reason other than just deciding against it? Makes me wish i didn't order links the other day.

Turn the ELM off, STAR lower your car, then turn the ELM back on. Now your ELM will lower from the STAR lowered position. Meaning, it thinks your stock position, which really your new STAR lowered position it your new stock position, is your stock position, SO IT WILL LOWER FROM THERE!

Anyone notice when you turn the ELM off it says returning to stock settings. Well when your car is STAR lowered, those are STOCK settings. You have just changed your STOCK settings with a Mercedes STAR computer. Now turn your ELM on and it will slam down like my CLS did.

like Marcus said, i have lowered on STAR and put ELM in and lowered further, ELM allows 2" drop so cars sits slammed.

lower you are the worse your tyre wear will be unless you have adjustable arms etc.

I don't plan on being LOW at all, just a little over the tire, which isn't much from stock.

Just decided to invest in other mods, And I like the way the car sits now. ITs next to impossible to find a tech that will touch it via star and I wanted to raise my car before installing this and just gave up because no one will do it. bump for a great product for a HELLOVAA deal!!
