MIR Mercedes shootout in Nov/Dec?

I was thinking about putting together a Mercedes shootout in nice cold air at one of the best tracks around and getting a bunch of people from across the country together at the same track and same day. Would be really fun!!! Also gives some of the guys time to recover from their crank eating pullies loll Lots of people building fast benzes and everything should be good to go by then!

Edit: first available weekend is Saturday November 10th which I have reserved for us. It is the week after world cup finals so add long as it doesn't rain/snow that week the prep will be great!!

I'm down! I'm trading my Navigator for a big truck just to pull the beast around for events like this. Lol If I hit 10s on Sunday it's on!

Alright, fine!

But if I'm doing this, no more of this tune-only bullchit, that I've been toying around with. I'll just go snag the overall SL record and be done with it. Patooey!

You don't have to have a fast car to run. We all started somewhere and if we get good air you will probably beat your previous best time.

build threads can be interesting, however, in my experience they hardly ever turn out the way they were intended. i'm more of a quiet let them see in the end kind of person anyway...

I will be there this time, I am not sure what car I will have, but it will be a V8 with a blower or Nitrous if that helps

I want to do the same thing. I told Ahmad last time I was gonna put some street tires on and see if I could run a 10 on the street tires

Why is that funny? You and I been talking for about 6 month or longer about me coming up. Well, hell yeah I am going to bring my wife!
