Carbon Wrap Opinions

Need your opinions... thinking of wrapping the chrome on the door handles, all the little chrome pieces on the car with some 3m wrap. I am in Texas and the sun can get scorching anyone have any issues with their wrap? Also thinking of doing the roof and the columns near the window where the 2 doors meet. Its either that or getting the handles and chrome pieces painted white and eventually painting the roof black. Also on the front grille a lot off ppl were saying that i need to paint the mesh grilles on the bottom to match the grille up top... whats your thoughts? Just trying to keep it simple but clean.
