I'll be happy to get into the 11s since I'm on street tires and full weight.temps are mid 70s with a high of 79.

First pass no cool down with just inspection then ran 11.7 with 65% gas in the tank!!

Its hot as **** but I'm happy

I complained to the guys there about there traps again.I trapped 116 on my second pass with 95 in the 1/8.

The guy that raced me ran a 8.9 at 139 with 119 in the 1/8 lol

My speedo was past the 120 mark on my 116 run too

11.7@121 on street tires not bad, who is holding the street tire record right now. Maybe that's a better goal instead of trying to runs 10s.

I think its just the heat killing your traps.. My best trap is 116 (stock) and that was on streets, but a very cool night..

I agree, not bad at all.

It's interesting how a few people think my car is slow because I ran 11.8@119mph on street tires. Yet skratch ran 11.7@121 with more mods than I have, better tires than I have and with 15* cooler temps and similar humidity.

I'm not hating on skratch, on the contrary, I think his times a good. But it really does make me wonder if some people here have ever even been to a track in their lives and only know how to bench race.

I also trapped 116 with 95 in the 1/8 back in the spring... I'm convinced that they have low trap speeds at that track. I was running an app on my phone that said I should have been closer to a 120 trap.

I think you missed my point. It's not about skratch being quicker or anyone else for that matter, it's people that assume that just because a person ran low 11's @ 125-128mph with the mods I have on drag radials and in 30* weather, they assume that anyone that doesn't run a similar is automatically slow regardess of track conditions and tires run. I've even gotten pm's asking me why my car is so slow...lol..yet it's on par with most people running street tires on warm weather with similar mods. It's because of the bench racing phenomenon...lol
