New Owner, W211 E63

Hey guys, just thought I'd do a quick intro.
Long time MBWorld member, just got out of the MB scene for awhile.
Had a W211 E55 before back in 03, S500, E430, CLK430, etc. etc.

Now I ended up getting an 07 E63. After buying the W211 E55 new, I learned my lesson in buying new (that depreciation hit hurt!)

Anyway, car is obsidian black on black. I've put smoked bumper sidemarkers, flat hood badge, replaced my airmatic relay to Hella's, and had the resonators removed today.

I owned a W220 so I know Airmatic issues! I've replaced the shocks and pump for the W220... not too scary, unless you're paying an indy to do it! $$

Removing the resonators definitely made the car sound like it SHOULD. I'm mailing my old resonator back to MB and tell them that it's a flaw on the car.

In any case, I'll take pics of the car once I get my custom plate "ECO FDLY"

Tell me more about the airmatic relay thing.

A cheap preventative measure. Just update your airmatic relay to the newer part number from Hella. The older ones don't last long and end up sticking.

Nothing special. Usually done when you replace/repair the pump.

Finally had a change to take pics after clay, polish, and clear-bra was installed.

Euro plates installed because previous owner (or dealer) drilled holes.

Thanks all. I'm getting cheap 19's and tires while I have these 18" AMG wheels refinished to like-new condition. I do like these OEM wheels and MPSS on them.
