Then you got lucky, but I wouldn't want to assume that is the norm for future business with them.

a friend of mine got a set of these on his SLK - they look pretty darned nice...

Spyder Auto PRO-YD-MBW21103-HID-DRL-BK Black LED Projection Headlight $413/ea

so far they've been rock solid on his car - anyone else have experience with Spyder products?

I really wanted to get those on my E55, but I read a review that they were dim. Is your buddy happy with the projection/brightness?

yes, he's been really happy with them, he loves the look and says he can see better than his old OEM setup - some of it probably depends on the bulbs/kelvin you use as well..

Well I threw a S/C belt today and I have the smaller eurocharged pulley. Would the gates tight fit belt be ideal? I was just wondering if the extra pressure would cause more stress on the S/C bearing. Any opinions.

Can anyone give some feedback on the quality and reliability of Dorman Control arms? I just purchased them for each side and by the looks of them I'm not to keen on putting them on the vehicle. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Requesting part number for the little metal clips that hold on the engine cover. I'm missing two.

Got the part today, but the tensioner quoted is for the drive belt, not the supercharger. Looks like the SC tensioner is way more $$

Am I correct to assume these are all the E55 parts? Also, how much oil does the SC need?

yup those are E55 parts

basically fill back what you removed from the S/C as long as it comes up to the bottom edge of the fill hole

How often are you guys changing the supercharge oil? I was told it is "lifetime" fluid. My car is bone stock, so it doesn't see any excess wear on the S/C motor but I am at 130K miles..
