'05 E55 Wagon
Some pics of the kids (Wagon heads, rise up)

Longtime lurker here. I've enjoyed this site and its posts for years (second post in six years). Finally wanted to share my wagons with you all. I've never had more fun with cars than these two, especially the E55 as it was a several year project of adding mods and enjoying the experience. As you all know that instant-on power and torque is addicting and it's hard to drive much else after the supercharger gets into your blood. Hope you'll enjoy the pics of these two. Below I've listed some of the mods and work I've done to them both. Needless to say I have developed quite a relationship with Renntech over the past five years and they've used my cars as test mules for a few new products. Owner/Founder Hartmut Feyhl has become a good friend and their work is first-cabin. Not for the faint of wallet but exceptional engineering and experience. I am a wagon freak and have owned several over the years. My folks had old school wagons when I was growing up and it's clearly stuck with me.

2012 E63 estate. 5150 miles on it now.
Bought it new and started the mods plan right away. Designo Mocha Black/Designo Light Brown int. The work took quite a while (almost 12 months) but I've been driving it since the summer quite a bit. Very different power feel than the E55 but scary fast.

Motor work/mods: ECU upgrade and tune, intercooler pump upgrade, turbo upgrade, last dyno was 658 rwhp / 761 rwtq
(approx 788 and 916 at the crank). Carbon fiber air box left to do and hoping to hit 800 crank hp.
Exhaust: Complete custom 3" set-up. 100% limited-slip rear diff, transmission upgrade, larger front and rear brakes, matte bronze powder-coated calipers, ELM suspension unit in the rear, KW coil-overs in the front. Matte black powder-coated all chrome bits (window surrounds, rear trunk moulding, front grill). Roof-rail delete. Tinted or smoked front LED driving light lens, rear tail-lights, side mirror reflectors. AMG flat front badge. Front perforated grill screens powder-coated to match other matte trim surfaces. HRE satin bronze P43SC wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sports 255/35/19 fronts, 295/30/19 rears. Med charcoal window tint and custom Renntech front spoiler and custom rear diffuser. Badges color-matched to satin bronze wheels.

A lot of time was spent bringing the vision for this car to life and it was really fun to dream up and execute. The design guys at Renntech were terrific and seeing it in the flesh was a great day. Driving this car gets a lot of looks, mostly from Benz fans and AMG owners. Really a fun car to plan, build and drive.

2005 E55 estate. 49,880 miles on it now.
Flint grey/charcoal int. Bought it nine months old in '06 and made a deal with the wife – drive it for a year and if she hated it, we'd dump it. She loved it and drove it for three years. I took it over in '09 and started messing with it and having a blast.
Motor: Full Renntech tune, intercooler upgrade, SLR pistons/connecting rods, SLR camshafts, ported and polished heads and exhaust ports, long tube headers, carbon air box, titanium valve spring retainers, last dyno was 538rwhp at the wheels (approx 645 crank hp) and 588rwtq (approx 706 torque at the crank).
Exhaust: Complete custom set-up. 100% limited-slip rear diff, 82mm Throttle body, ELM lowering unit, transmission upgrade.
Carlsson front air dam (painted to match body color), smoked rear tail lights, smoked side markers/mirror reflectors. Roof-rail delete. Big brakes F&R with body color-matched calipers. Matte black powder-coated rear bumper panel, ADV-1 wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sports . She's getting older but I still love the raw feel of the 55 and had the best time slowly adding to its current vibe/feel. I love AMGs though I think the brand gets abused a bit by MB and wish they were more discerning with what they stick that acronym on. Have owned some M cars as well but feel that AMGs are from a very different philosophy that feels more purpose bit and raw to me.

REALLY nice job on both.. On the 55 throw a 63 front end on and a DCT steering wheel (with paddles) and don't look back.. Nice job...

Both are gorgeous cars! That e63 Biturbo color combo is the best I have seen yet, Black on Tan leather, perfect! And lets not forget those numbers, each one is putting down some serious numbers! Gorgeous cars man, I'm jealous!!

a land yacht.
that 63 wagon is off the charts!!

if I might make a small suggestion, only thing I think would be icing on the cake tiny detail is some stealth turn signal bulbs in the front headlights to hide that orange. eBay has some nice LED ones..

BMW M5 + E55 AMG
Take note, folks.

THIS is how you tastefully mod these cars visually (deep pockets for major driveline mods notwithstanding, lol).

Fantastic builds, both must be terrifyingly fast. I can't imagine there to be much grip - if any - in the first three gears at anywhere near full throttle.

I have seen your w211 estate online while searching for pics of modded wagons! Both of your cars are very impressive! Good luck with them! I would love to see a video of them running against each other!
