Any thoughts on these? quality?

Hey all;

First, Happy Easter!

As I am working on the cosmetic side of the E63, which is being de-chromed, I kinda like the thought of black headlight buckets...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/280958290742...84.m1423.l2649

Anyone know about quality, fit and etc??

Seems strange that they are online for between $650 and $250....

Thanks!

My experience with ebay headlights is the pretty much suck. They use low quality projectors & not a clean cut off or output even with HID.

Mod yours, clean them up, paint the insides & boom! OEM FTW

I haven't pulled them out. Can you separate the lens from the body?

Agreed .. these are garbage in general. Can bake stock lights open at 200F for 10 -15 minutes. Be careful when you open them not to get the black tar stuff on the silver reflective part (although if you are painting them black this part doesn't matter so much) .. start from the bottom side so if you do get any on there, you can't see it cos it's on the bottom side.
