Jason and Tony @ BIP are freaking awesome. If you don't know them.....you need to.
101 degrees was the temp when we hit 602 rwhp. The techs at Dallas Performance states their dyno is low @25 hp. We were using VP M109. We could of gained more with Q16, but....I'm tired of changing out 02s.
I would like to thank Shardul for showing up. I owe a lot to him. Always there when you need him.

The problem with those intakes sucking in hot engine air is that the engine will have a tendency to heat soak very quickly in hot weather. They look good but the power will be greatly decreased when the hood is closed. It does look cool though.

Second, it has been proven that IATs are not greatly effected with open filters that have channeled air flow.
Third, are you telling me @5000 rpms in 4th gear there will be less air flow driving than the shop fan in a 100 degree room?

Big Kudos to BIP as usual. Tony tuned my old V6 Crossfire to a 11.0 @ 124. It would have been a 10.8 if not for the slipping tranny.
Now they're working on my CL65 tune which has yielded great results on the dyno so far.
Nice work Tony!

Will still be an issue but the meth will help mask the heat and reduce detonation. If the intakes were drawing cold air, the car would make more power much like it did on the dyno with the hood open. Drawing in hot air from the engine bay kills power. It should not even be a discussion.

Great numbers there! Tony can certainly tune.
Question:
What is the red hose running to/from behind the grill/hood latch area for? Can't make it out. Can tell its not for a trunk tank type setup since that is on the pass side.

Couple questions, why are your AFR's in the 9's at the beginning of the pull? Do you know why the power is falling off at the top of the pull? I thought ported heads would prevent this. Nice numbers for such crazy heat!
