Found some oil splashed on the driver's side. Looks like the oil cooler lines but did not confirm where the oil was coming from other than that general area before I broke the coolant hose side of the coolant breather hose.

Which was of course holding back some very hot water, which burned by hand pretty well.

So. I'll be replacing the oil cooler hoses and seals just because it's a good best practice. I'll also be replacing the coolant hoses and the reservoir which crumbled when I touched the tank side of the breather line. Germans and their damn crumbly plastic.

Question : any other WYIAT for me? I'll be removing the radiator to make some room to get these hoses replaced. Serpentine? Thermostat? Hidden coolant hoses?

Need the car soon, but have to order parts anyway, so I can do some work in this area to be sure.

So far it's:

Expansion tank
Upper hose
Lower hose
Breather line
Oil cooler lines
Oil cooler line seals against oil bulkheads
Maybe longer line from tank to passenger side.
I also see a small coolant line that comes from the front of the radiator on the passenger side.

The finicky rubber shroud that interacts with the intake holes looks like it would be a good piece to replace as well.
