Having both driveshaft flex discs replaced tomorrow, fix rear main seal leak also?

My flex discs have cracks in them and I've only read bad things about not having them replaced ASAP. So tomorrow Eurotech (best non-dealer shop in Orlando as far as I've heard) is dropping the driveshaft and replacing them both for around $850.

Question is, would it be smart cost wise to have them do the rear main seal while they're at it? I have read that these rear main seals like to weap and it isnt much concern, but as far as I've known mine has been leaking for at least 50k miles.

Any ideas what the cost should be to do the seal while they're at it? Or what it would be to do it later on? I feel as though I don't baby my car as much as may, I like to enjoy her performance so to speak, so I also figure my situation deserves a bit more attention?

The transmission and TC has to be dropped to access rear main seal. If you are already dropping the tranny you might as well drop the TC and have the seal replaced. You will end up saving money doing that now versus the work done the road.

Well as far as I know they only have to drop the driveshaft to replace both flex discs. Dropping the tranny is another..

You don't have to drop the trans for this, also 850$ sounds like a lot for changing the flex discs

Agreed seems high, drive shaft does not need to be dropped, unless your doing center bearing also.

Rear main does involve dropping driveshaft and trans.
