55 wont start after sitting for 3 days with no battery. .help
Guys I need help iv search and cant find any similar problem. .ok so my radiator whent bad and have to replace it ..well after having my 55 sit for 3 days with no battery installed. .
so now I installed the battery and tried to turn on the car and it just cranks and wants to start but it won't it just "tatatatatatatatatata" and I can smell gas ..some one mentioned to me that I have to reset the cps or ecu to get it on.my mechanic think the car may be drowned from the gas any info please ..Thanks

Not sure but you may have to cycle the key by turning it on for like 30 secs then off and then try it. Also try and hit the unlock on your keyfob a few times as well as from the inside of the car. It might think the alarm is on so make sure that it doesn't think that!

Letting the car sit without a battery should not be a big deal. Mine has sat for motnhs with no battery or battery un-hooked. Just your key fab alarm 60nomad mentioned. Was the car outside or any place the fuel could be tampered with? Do you have a STAR unit to check for codes or if by chance your crank sensor failed? Did you check to see if you have spark at the plug wires?

So you recently replaced the CPS sensor, alternator, and battery. Now the car will crank but not turn over? Did you use a Bosch CPS Sensor? Those that have used other makes ended up not being able to start their car. Think culprit is your CPS sensor if you can smell gas as you try to start and not crank over.
