OP, I love the color combination you have. The dark blue and orange colors really look great. I always said my next boat was gonna have mixture of those two colors. Nice job doing them!!!!!

The timeliness of this thread is just awesome as I'll be doing this next week. Looks mint OP. I notice you have the brake line attached while painting. Any insight on what you had to do prior to disconnecting the brake lines? Deactivate with star or just unplugged sbc? I need to take a closer look at my car when I get back in town to determine where you disconnected the brake line as well.
As for the job, as the car was anyway in the garage for the transmission rebuild I decided to do it by the book- the brake system was disabled by star, than it was drained of brake fluid, calipers were sent to another high end garage where they removed the brake pads and prepare them for the respray- used a filler and primer in order to smooth it surface, than had few coats of paint with the code I provided them (it's the Lamborghini Gallerdo pearl orange), decals on and finished with few clear coats.
Job was very expensive but absolutely flawless.
As for the colour, I wanted something unusual which will be a nice contrast to the cars colour and will be a good base to my plan to change the rims to something more aggressive in 19' gun metal colour.
