Do a Search, this has been covered to death. But/...... Here is your answer. You can purchase a H pipe, X pipe (more exotic sounding, supposed to be) or do it like a lot of us have and just go to your local muffler shop and cut the resonator out and install two straight pipes. Simplest fix cost you around 200 and the sound is just perfect. No drone, quiet at speed. When you want it, its there. Hope this helps

^ he nailed it. I had my resonators removed and welded on 2 straight pipes. Sounds awesome.

Most muffler shops can do the job in a short time. Make sure this mod will give you the sound you are looking for or maybe listen to another car live, that has doen the mod.

I was wondering if there is a splice in setup from one of the vendors. I'm thinking I may need to fab one myself.

no need for anything but straight pipes for the resonator. the secondary cats are where the X pipe should reside.

I just did straight pipes. I had my friend that is a fabricator TIG weld them in. I would never take my Benz to a normal muffler shop. The work will look like ****. I'd take the car to a performance shop and pay to have a quality job done.

I bought 3" stainless pipe, but I should have got 2.75". The 3" will work but he had to slip it over and use a little more filler then he should have. Sounds perfect.
