e55 dyno tested
hey all. yesterday i had my 04 E55 tested on a 2014 mustang dyno and got results i did not expect. the last time i dyno tested, i got 430 whp and 630 wnm on just an ECU tune.
After that i installed 78mm sc pulley, 82mm TB, added another frontal intercooler, weistec TCU tune. i got 0.91 bar boost, without the TCU tune, tcu got me extra 450 rpm.
i attached the dyno results to look at.
personally i blame it on the ventilation and cooling of the dyno room; coolant temp that i have never seen above 93C went to 106C and sc only boosted 11.6 psi. 2 psi less than it should. i think there really was no air in the room, and the ventilator in front was barely blowing. this explains the low hp, but the WNM was fine, it was as i expected, cant explain that.
i was expecting around 470-480 whp and 700-720 wnm.
what do you guys think happened and what do you think is should expect in reality with those mods??
after the dyno pull i went to street test, against an M5, the coolant went down to 81c and max was 92, and i passed the manual e60 m5, real easy... which dynoed 413 whp a day ago on another dyno.

ps. the 4th gear goes 306 kph but dyno could only test up to 270 or so. the 3rd gear pull rpms ar wrong, dynoer forgot to calibrate. it went up to 7000

Always dyno in 3rd on a mustang and those numbers look about what you should have
your afrs dipped alittle at the end but even if it didn't you would probably only get another 15hp more

Dyno dynamics is like a mustang dyno
Reads pretty much low
I doubt you are getting almost 500hp with only a sc pulley and 82mm
Bring your car to the track let's see

i do have a 77mm pulley. headers will be custom built in around 2-3 weeks, followed by 164mm custom crank pulley to yield total of 16.5 psi and then be cooled by meth injection. well, thats the idea at least.
lets see how it goes.
