Star vs Versus
I already have a Snap-on Versus and was wondering if it is worth it to pick up a Star system. The Snap-on does a lot including shutting down the SBC for brake work but will not do a brake bleed. That's about all I see as being an issue so for the guys that have a Star is there anything else that would be important to have that only the Star can do. The Snap-on was $8,500.00 so if I don't need the Star...that would be great. Also I do not have air suspension in the car so that's no concern.Thanks.

You can disable lots of unwanted features with star, including o2 sensors if going catless. Change the way your parking lights work by coding to Row. Not sure if the snap on can do that. And not sure if you even care about that stuff

Well thats the thing. I do not know enough about things like the SBC. Can that be replaced and bled the hard way with out stars? I do not want to depend on anyone if I run into a problem in the future. I also will be driving 9 hours to the ECTA time trials in Maine this year so any issues I will be on my own. I have no experience with a Star system as well.
