Help! Coolant. Visit Workshop...

I recently serviced my car, then had a re-tune done. About 2 days ago, the coolant visit workshop light came on, and stays on. Is there anything that I should look for? Temp is between 80 - 100 degrees. Can't tell at this point, but temp seems to start climbing upward when sitting at the traffic light last evening. Never went past 100 degrees. First time I will see the temp sit right at 100 degrees. Checked the Reservoir for low level, but it's full.

Just need further thoughts and input on these situation. Thanks.

Same problem on my E63, I get the error message although coolant level is perfectly fine. I replaced the sensor which did not change anything.

Is your car running fine though? Any unusual rise in temp . Just want to make sure that it's not going to create a problem down the road.

A wild guess but is the fan plug fully seated and the fan fuse good? I once unplugged the fan and the coolant visit workshop warning appeared as soon as key in run position

I pulled the fan plug out last night, and make sure it was seated tight. So far, the temp have been right at 90 degrees without any fluctuation in temp. Will keep my finger cross. The message haven't popped up so far, but still need to clear the error message.

Nope, everything is working fine.

I need to check if the fan works properly, but if it wasn't I would have noticed the t° going up I guess (although it was winter).

I have not driven my car all winter, but I'm pretty sure the temp holds at 80*c.
