New Mods/Tuning Question.
Recently, I just added new mods and tuning. Mods added were LT headers with 400 cell cat and just added 172 mm pulley on friday and re-tuned.
Previously, My best track time was 12.1 @ 115.75 mph before this mods were added. Added LT Headers with 400 cell cat, ran a best of 12.1, and 121.75 mph. Did a tune, mph dropped to 117 mph, especially on the 2nd 1/8 mile, lost 3~4 mph. 172 mm pulley added, and re-tuned the ECU. Still running 12.1 @ 117 mph. Is it safe to retry the first tune setup before this mods were added, which will be small s/c pulley and EC tune, HE, and bosch 010 pump?

I had 9 runs at the track in < 3 hours after I installed the headers. First run, I trapped 120.41 mph, and last run of that day, I trapped 121.75 mph, so I don't see how it can be the IAT. The mph are consistent. No drastic drop observed. But after putting on the tune, I've lost ~4 mph at the 2nd half of the track.

This was before I added the 172 mm pulley. Just added the 172 mm pulley 2 days ago, and ran it today to see if there are any difference, but still running the same. I have the split cooling kit already, just waiting on instructions to install.

Doing just that. My concern is that the problem started after I re-tune. I thought headers suppose to help with cooling? Again, this started before I added the 172 mm pulley. I was just wondering if it's possible to go back to the old tuning before this recent mods were added?

Seriously though cooling should be the first thing you should address before modifying these cars. If you don't do cooling then you'll be heat soaked as soon as your turn the damn thing on.

I would get it on a dyno, and get the air fuel graph and timing looked at. Send that file to your tuner, let him update the maps and re-upload the new tune.
Might as well also get a race gas tune, that is good for some extra HP. I will get some install instructions for you.

Better yet start logging!
Custom tune you can do on a dyno. You do pulls and you send the print out to EC and they adjust the tune. Logging is always much better to tune

No prob, nope not getting rid of it. For some reason mine went bad cause I dropped it and went off sporadically and had to get another because the repair was almost as much as a new one, my friend picked up the repaired one off me and I got another one.

This what my dyno graph looks like before and after I installed the LT Headers.
