it's not a recall, it's a warranty. so don't take your car in unless you have the gas smell when you fill up the tank.

He's in Canada, if he has the gas smell and or gas pooling up they will not fix it under this warranty extension, this is only USA

Wow. Add another to the list, my tank got replaced last week. The dealer hit me for labor involved in getting the non-OEM exhaust out of the way but are gonna argue with MB about that and refund me if they win the argument.

Good luck if you get it back in 5 days. Mine has been in for 6 weeks now and still not ETA on the parts from Germany. But, they gave me a 2015 C300 and had to take a 400 mile round trip vaca and a 600 mile round trip work trip so I am not complaining.

I got lucky. They had it for 6 days and gave it back to me not smelling like gas anymore so I don't have to go through any more E55 withdrawal...
The loaner was a brand new c300 that we didn't like anywhere *near* as much as my wife's 2011.

I got an email from the dealer today saying my tank will be in in a few days. Cant come soon enough this CLA250 blows, it is completely gutless and feels like an accord haha

I had mine done last week. New tank and pumps etc. It is back at the dealer now after less than a week with no fuel pressure ! I hope you have better luck.

I feel bad for you guys with cars out of order for more than a month. I was in and out within 72 hours.
