sell as is? or put back to stock?
got the E55 serviced today, trans fluid, brake fluid and rear diff - regular stuff to be honest...
got a brand new C300 for a loaner, and dang the interior was damn nice... power lacking, but it was nice to be in a new car...
so - sell the car as is? or pull the headers and put back to stock and trade it in?

After driving a '15 C300 loaner for 2 months, I was itching to get back into the E55. Granted, I haven't owned mine nearly as long as you have. The C300 is a great car, light and with more than enough pep in Sport+, but it is not the E55. I'm in a '15 E350 loaner now and I'm still meh. All the little creature comforts are nice to have, but I'll take my E55 without Sat. Radio and Attention Assist. *shrug*

If you do sell I would leave it as is. The labor to take the few parts off, especially headers, will probably nix any gains from selling the parts.

I absolutely hate the interior and how the new (and old) C classes feel. I picked up my wife at night after getting a C300 loaner and she commented that MB gives out Kia loaners now? until she saw the sign in the steering wheel. Her next response was why do they have a damn iPad bolted on the dash? lol

Putting back to stock and selling the parts always seesm to net more $$$$. Then you can use the garage kept, never raced and driven like an old lady story.

I'd pull the pulley and scoops off, flash it back to stock and trade it in. Path of least resistance and can get you in a new car ASAP!

Even though the E55 is dated, I've never been impressed with any of the C-class interiors, especially that iPad bolted to the dash.

e55 amg, gmc acadia, wrx, integra
I thought about getting rid of the e55, but since it's paid off I will just keep it and enjoy. even when I eventually get an e63 the e55 will always have a place in my garage. I just need to update the head unit and it will be up to par as far as electronics go for me

The wife has a 15 C300 ,although interior is nice ,I hate the rims that came on it and I liked the look of her 2013 C300 more then this EGG,if you gave me that car I'd sell it,I have no plans on selling my 03 SL55 which is running in the tens lol

That's how I feel. A lot of time, money, and effort went into getting my car sorted (almost done!). The only thing left is to modernize the audio and do new headlights that have more than 1 candlepower.
