First CEL
CEL came on the other day.
Got the car scanned, cleared the code....
Came back today.
Tightened the gas cap after clearing the code, as I thought maybe it was that.
Do I need to change the purge valve? I inspected all the hoses and nothing is loose leading to it....

Yup, had the same thing happen to me and I changed the purge valve. Very easy to change, near the drivers side headlamp.
Although check your pumps and seals also because it's detecting an evap code so it could be that also.

Yes, not an unusual failure.
Definitely change it as it supposedly can cause long-term damage.
Dealer charges around $500 for labor and part. You can probably do it on your own for a significant percentage less.

Yeah very easy to change.
Just have to source the part... would rather get a new one...
CEL went off 3 days ago on its own. Hasn't come back. All I did was unplug it and re-plug.
