TCU HELP!!
So i have been dealing with this nightmare for almost a month now and last option i have left is to get another TCU.. please take a moment to read...
so let's start from the top, bought the TCU tune from EC had my 3K stall installed. Sent out my TCU to jerry, he tuned it sent it back to me popped it in, started the car backed out of my driveway, immediately noticed a big thump when putting shifter in reverse.... put it in drive and noticed an even bigger thump??? hmmm ok so i start rolling down the street and noticed car isn't shifting gears so i go to select the modes to change it to M and it would not let me choose modes??? So i figured automatically the TCU wasn't connected fully.. went to check everything and all seems good, tried the car again and still same thing... contacted jerry he said send it back so we can test it. BTW CEL showed up code read P2100.. jerry checked it out, tested it in one of his shop cars said all is good. OK, he sends it back popped it in again and same thing now I'm really pissed CEL on again read code P2100 again.. jerry said it's either the conductor plate or solenoids.
ordered a new conductor plate replaced that, same thing again... talked with jerry again and he said to replace the solenoids.
so just yesterday we replaced the solenoids pieced it all back started the car and same ******* thing
only option left now is to try a new TCU but jerry guarantees it's not the TCU because they tested mine the second time i sent it out to them.. not to mention my car was shifting flawlessly before i ever sent it out for a tune, so none of this really makes any sense to me. Did something get shocked in the system because of the tune? why isn't it coming out of limp mode if the code read P2100 which if you look up the code says solenoids are bad? Could it really be the TCU has went bad?

^^ This. Pretty sure after TCU related codes are triggered, even after the issue is repaired you have to clear TCU codes with start for it to get out of limp mode. Any chance you have star or have a buddy with star?

Hmm, so then does it keep throwing the code each time you attempt to put it in gear after clearing the code? Also, what's the condition of the electrical connector going into the transmission on the passenger side?

I think TCU not reading the RPM signal through the speed sensor, cause there is a direct react signal between ECU(RPM reading & TCU(bearing final reading) during to the speed sensor,,
this signal could interrupted when tuned, this will not be cured, until re-flash the TCU to the factory sitting, then tune it again..!!

Karma is a bit(h isn't it??? The 3K stall that you sold to me? No wait, you sent me your old factory garbage, and your "mechanic" was the one who sent it. If he is an MB tech and cannot figure it out. He is no tech at all. I am glad he is working on your vehicle as well. I love karma!

haha yea buddy
you really must be butthurt
either way you are a pest..
i can screen shot of conversations between me and EC and how "jerry" is the **** yea he really is the ****
once i get this new TCU module and if it doesn't work i will shoot my self
but i know it will!!!
i have proof jerry said that the P2000 code is always there because of their software? is there an explanation my TCU is in limp mode after a TCU tune from them and after replacing multiple parts still the same thing????
and after all this jerry tells me send it back again we will look at it REALLY??
I WILL NEVER USE*EC AGAIN.

3k stall have anything to do with it? Poor figment issues? If the TCU is good, and for arguments sake assume it is, could the stall be causing your issues?

I don't really want to say this BUT **** eurocharged.... Which means their software ruined my TCU but it's been sent out to renntech! They gurantee it was EC tune that has caused This mess for me!!! I really don't doubt it, because EC said they have tested my TCU after the second time I sent it to them?? Really I call bull****.. With that being said careful guys EC doesn't really care. I replaced multiple parts after jerry said "trust me".. Well I did and it did nothing lucky me my good buddy came through with a stock TCU and guess what *voila* everything went back to normal.
