SL65 PPI in North Dallas
I'm considering an SL65 for sale in Dallas, to add to our E55 Wagon (I'm in Florida) and looking for a recommendation for a shop that can do a thorough PPI. It's located in North Dallas.
The Mercedes dealers won't do them, which surprised me (they will in Florida).
I tried a recommendation of Rodney Herson, but they can't do it until next week and I'd love to do it sooner than that.
Any suggestions welcome!

Autoscope is another option. I have used their Coit Rd. shop. All work I've had done there was fully competent. That said, I stopped using them because their pricing is the same or higher than the MB dealer down the street. But will be fine for a PPI. Best of luck.

I've never herd of a dealer not doing a ppi. They know your paying them just to inspect it right? they usally charge 2 hours around here with a short test.

This place is a joke.
A non-dealer or non-MB specialty shop would make me nervous, but looks like you are stuck.
There are a lot of experienced MB techs leaving the dealers/industry, we are tired of being s**t on...maybe those dealers are staffed with the new recruits out of tech school who've never seen an SL65. But hey, the dealer loves 'em at $12/hr.
Be prepared to put in a new set of plugs (24!), both coil packs, and the ionic current "magic box" if they haven't been done recently, it's good preventative maintenance for these beasts, and all those pieces have been superceded over the years to better parts. About $3-$4k at the dealer, roughly.
