No information is given for the mods in the first video, but according to the comments the
E55 has following mods in the second video: tune, crank pulley (size?) headers, exhaust, plugs, heat exchanges, IC pump and 555r's. The M5 is said to just have a tune.

I'm pretty sure the guy in the e55 is a member here. E55amgsd.. I think it's the same guy that posted a video of beating a CTSV in SD.
His mods are Kleeman headers 83mm pulley heatexchanger and Eurocharged tune

I had a not too dissimilar experience the other day coming home from work, but with a FZ6, which is the detuned and naked (although this one was full fairings) version of the R6. Was good to be able to stretch the legs of he car and have a few Ks between lights, got three in a row. I sure as heck wasn't peeling away from the bike like that car was, that thing is a weapon!

sexyxe: It sounds like you showed that bike what's up! The avg. person just don't realize how hard these cars pull in the lower rpms. This is especially so when the boost is increased!

I knock off these bikes every time, but I always choose the battle field which is a long clear run (usually an autobahn) and always rolling from at least 50 MPH (80 KPH), ESP & A/C off.
M5's have never been a problem so far.
A few year ago I ran down a Viper on the A60

Bought the E55 in 2005 and the CLK63 in 2008. Sold the CLK63 with less than 9000 miles in 2013.
Mods are:
168mm ASP
Custom tune for 100 octane with 6800 rpm limit
Headers + exhaust work
Ported 80mm TB with matching components
SLR 6 port Injectors
Balanced fuel rail
Heat Exchanger
Various charge air heat reduction items
CM30 pump
CF drive shaft
Lightweight rotors
LSD
Toe Links
KMAC's
My theory is to add lightness and keep everything as cool as possible. Buzzing the S/C higher makes an awful lot of heat to deal with.
