Becker/obx/ebay long tube headers
They look amazing, especially since they're bolt on and fully welded long tubes.
Not sure if they're a knock off of someone else's. If I didn't already have PLM shorty headers I'd be all over these

No these ones are different than the previous discussion. The other ones have a slip for collector, which are prone to exhaust leaks. These OBX ones are fully welded, with no slip fit.

I had obx logs on my c43. All I can say is that the tubing is about as thick as tinfoil and the flanges warped so much it pulled the threads out of the heads. These may be different but you get what you pay for.

Isn't there anyone who has bought these yet? I'll probably take the plunge and buy a set in next couple of months. It would be great if someone could chime in and maybe snap a few pictures or so.

From other platforms..... don't. Have a look inside the headers, I bet the merge looks great and I am sure all welds are back purged....

I'm going to get a set of these as soon as I'm done with a few other projects. For the price, with catted midpipes, they are hard to ignore... and have to be better than stock (reduce temps and make power).

Make sure to post your impressions and some pictures when you do.

No way in hell id pay that for chinese knock offs. If they are dirt cheap yes. That imo is not dirt cheap.
That said there arent that many other options.

All the mass produced headers are made in China (alibaba). That includes some of the pricier headers (such as my PLM shorties that have an exhaust leak from the factory).

We have all been putting Alibaba china parts on out w211 E55's for years... most of you are uneducated on where these "big brands" produce your stuff.
SO... Anyone installed these yet?

The fact of the matter is that someone sent ARH headers to China and had them mass produced... now if ling-ling jigged them properly they will be a stellar bargain. In regards to ARH, a ton of their popular items have met this fate by the China mass producers.
*I do find it quite funny their website states the tubing is US SOURCED STAINLESS, yet does not say where they are made. Many big operations do this whilst outsourcing to a quality factory overseas, not saying they are trying to pull the wool over ones eyes but man China gets all of their items quickly to copy.
I think I'm going to source these, have flanges machined & reliefs added. Cant lose...

I ordered a set of these OBX headers, and I'll report back after they're installed.
If you do order, be sure to get O2 extenders and new header studs and bolts (neither are included with the headers). Also read the auction carefully, as they're offered with and without cats (a luxury car that stinks like a 1970's junker is not that cool).
