Car seems to be loaded.... Silver, pano, Disctronic, start/stop on shifter, black/navy interior, HK sound. I'm sure I'm missing other options. 50,127 miles.
I THINK I got an amazing deal but would like to hear what you guys think I should have paid????

Pics would help. I'm not a fan of the navy interior it's ok but its just not my style. Anything under 18 would be a good/solid deal. It's the most common color but one of the best. But the Greys and blues are 1000+ on value. You will love the car. It's not only nice and beautiful it's also a rocket.

Solar panels supply power to the interior fans to circulate air in the cabin so that it will not be too hot when you return to the car after it has been sitting in the sun.

2004 was the last year for the solar panel option. They were available with the pano roof option. The intended purpose was to power ventilation fans when parked in direct sunlight. I believe they automatically come on when the interior temperature rises enough.

When power is off, the fan starts to spin directly when sunlight hits the panels.

I think it's all relative! Trying to find a W211 E55 mint now days is becoming quite challenging. I travelled to see 6 and turned them all down till I finally got my 04. It too, was mint in every sense of the word. $$$$$ go fast goodies too as well as every piece of documentation from day one. 85k miles, $15k worth of upgrades with a 550 hp end result and I paid 19k for mine. I feel like I got a hell of a bargain!!!

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I did pretty well, paid 16,000 for the car one owner bone stock. As a bonus I got a ride in his Audi R8 as well as his Tesla P 85. I have personally owned a 900 hp to the wheels vehicle before and have never experienced acceleration like the Tesla the 85!!! Simply incredible

That's what I thought. I would have ordered them on mine with the pano roof if they were still available on 05. As it is, my car has every factory option available, including burled walnut in lieu of the black wood, except for the pano roof. after 10 years of ownership and 100K miles, the front brake pads were replaced last December when it went in for its annual service. It is still a pretty good car, too bad it isn't worth too much.
