That's the tensioner. I have seen the bracket brake and bearings go out. I would assume the bearings are fried and melted it. You should feel power slipping at WOT

Yes it will be the supercharger kicking in and out, because the belt is slipping so bad. I test drove one with a broken bracket and I jerked bad. Although they said it was inspected I knew it was toast

I see multiple points of impact. Something else happened under the hood that was not supposed to happen.

It was at a dealer , my guess is they try to replace the charger belt they could not get the bolt out so they began to hit it missed and hit the pulley or they hit the pulley thinking it was strong ,just my theory

Man move on - find another shop. Life's too short to let a dodgy mechanic destroy your ride so you have to walk...

No is not like that , i live in cali they had this for sale in arizona some dealer, so i when and bought it because it was cheap compare to others for sale inside cali. I got home i already knew it was gonna need work the tensioner is jack up,rear strut is out,key wont open or close doors everything else works perfect. I dont do mechanics or shops or dealers i do my own work , so thats the story.

Yes it's scary to see the damage some of these defenceless beasts are subject to. They would not survive in the wild. They might sound and look fast and powerful but they rely on their owners to maintain their health...

Update

So i swapt out the sc belt, the old one was busted, also my doable idle pulley has play on it.

I change out the aux pump but i notice the old one was a 010 .. so yea surprise but i dont think it works so i swap it out anyways and bleed the air, now im just waiting on the tensioner pulley.
