Cracked Bracket
The bracket that holds the engine cover finally gave way when trying to remove the SC Pulley due to it being gapped incorrectly. The bracket already had a small crack in it. The SC pulley has been massively over torqued.
Are there any other methods for removing the SC Nut once that bracket has broken?
Thanks,
.

Holy crap, that thing must really be on there. what method were you using? Wrapping the magnet housing with two hose clamps is how I do it, but I also have a little piece of a 2x4 that acts as the cushion between the hose clamps and the metal post. There might be enough of that nub left to get a good bite with a block of wood. Also, as janky as it sounds, try some JB Weld to get that post back on there. That stuff could have kept the Titanic afloat.
Did you hit that bolt with some fire?

if you have acces to a lift and powertools, then just lift the car, remove under pan and you can easily acces the engine mount bolts from under the car. Remove and then just lift the engine a little to get a impact wrench on it!

Thanks guys, I used the two hose clamp process, heated the nut, maybe no enough.
its a PITA that this broke, as I mentioned it did have a crack in it.
I'll rebuild it with JB Weld for cosmetics doubt it can take any weight, was hoping to get a shatter shield on it.
I'll try with a impact tool and more heating.
Thanks guys

SC not damaged apart from the cosmetics and the DIY SC removal in the future, using that as a pivot. It was slightly cracked already.
As someone suggested, JB weld or Metal loctite should get it back visually but will never be able to take any pressure. Its a PITA i could do without.... anyhow forward and onward.
Heating the nut and using a the air gun is the next step.
