Out Of Control!!
As far as clear bra goes, Xpel ultimate is the best. That would make me more likely to buy the XPel

It is a little nerve racking as it is a one shot deal. I did use a heat gun. I cleaned the lens thoroughly using a 50/50 alcohol/water mix. The heat was applied to the film evenly to make it nice and pliable. Then sprayed the activator on the film and the lens (50/50 alcohol/water), applied it and worked it with a small plastic squeegee to get out any bubbles or excess fluid. There is a fair amount of curvature to the main lamps so there was some squeegeeing to be done. I put them on the wife's MDX and that lamp was flatter and much easier to apply the film. The kit comes with a driving lamp film too, that was a piece of cake since it is smaller and less curvature. There was another film that I thought was for the fogs but it was not the correct shape...might have been a generic w211 kit? Anyway, I was happy with getting the main lenses covered and happy with the product and the result!

XPEL has a 7 year warranty for the headlight protection and stands behind their product -- even will replace your headlights if the product damages them in any way.

Any updates as to what these look like and how hard they were to install? Would anyone try to install these on the more wrap around style lights of the GLE?

thanks for bumping this...does anybody know a reputable seller who can cut 3M Scotchgard Pro for the W211 E63? 3M Scotchgard Pro from what I've read performs better than the two. I found one retailer online, but their website literally has almost nothing on it which doesn't lead me to want to input my credit card info for ordering.
