Need feedback on Longtubes on an 2008 e63 guys. Real life feedback. Diff in horsepower, torque, throttle opening. Difference between catless and catted. What setup makes the noise bearable? Meaning maximum raspiness. Would tune and Longtubes yield 475whp? I've read other posts and everyone says differently.

Here's mine, look through the videos. It's loud only at cold start and when you put your foot down, other that that cruising it's like stock. Oh and it stinks, not as bad as my other catless cars though.

Night and day difference obviously. I honestly wouldn't want the car if I couldn't have Longtubes. Pulls hard with great linaer power and the M156 at 7000 rpm with catless Longtube is something you can't imagine you just have to hear it in person.

What is the setup? Longtubes catless. What about secondary cats and resonator? I'm assuming ur pushing 575 hp? Is this enough to beat the twin turbo m3 or m4 or the new m156 e63?

You are asking a lot of question you could have searched and found easy.

Beating a stock F30 M yes, tuned no. W212 E63 only difference is MCT so yea you could beat that if it's stock as well.

Issues, nope, just typical maintenance.

This^^ I had catless longtube on my C63 and it was loudest car i ever had by far! and in the mornings on cold start ups it sounded like john force was starting up his cammed out drag car lol...

seriously, it will set off car alarms when you start it and kill anyone's ear drums on cold starts..... I got looks (good and bad) from anyone i ever passed....

and you will smell gas when you step outside your car without the cats.... i like the smell of gas so didnt bother me, but it does take away some from the refinement of a luxury car.

you car will no longer be stealth at all, anytime you step on the gas just a little bit everyone will know it lol

here is my c63 just pulling out of a parking lot at about 5 mph lol

No never got a chance the race any of the new AMG TwinTurbo's but I definitely would've gotten smoked in my C 63 as it was just a tune and long tube headers , since I now have one of the twin turbos , I know it's way faster than my previous C 63

But once you slap a supercharger on the C 63's they do become animals

Your saying a stock 2012+ E63 or CLS63 would kill a modded c63 with longtubes?

This thread went off subject. If your wanting to beat a twin turbo you won't be doing it with a a NA e63. The bi turbo 63 or newer ctsv are fast. Even an e55 needs 180 or higher pulley tune and headers to have a shot. And if they are modded forget it. They both run mid 11's in street trim. A bi turbo with tune and M/t's can hit 10's

Most likely 9/10 times ... When my e63s was stock it still felt much faster Than my c63 with tune/ long tubes
