Airmatic Problem. Please Help!
So I was just driving and the whole front end dumped and got the dreaded "Stop Vehicle Too Low" indicator. I don't know if the air shock actually went out or if I need to reset it. I know Mercedes said I had to replace it before then they later said that it just needed to be reset. Does anyone out there know how to reset it? Does anyone know anything that I can do? If I do need to replace the shocks where would be the best and most cost effective place to get them at?
Thank You,
Ty

Tow to mechanic of your choice. Pull codes and/or discover what is truely in need of repair (sensor, strut, air pump, other). If it is a strut install Arnott (remanufactured are available for less). Or consider coilovers, search and you will find the pros and cons.

I just replaced the leaking front struts on my 2009 GL 550 with Arnott units and cannot
believe the improvement in handling. The original Mercedes units never felt right in
any of the three settings. Now I enjoy each of the three depending on road conditions.
I am extremely satisfied. Also, Arnott will buy your old units, "cores", and pay for shipping.
PS If your units are leaking the compressor is working constantly to refill the leaking units.
