I suspect my 03 e55 has the original failure prone Valeo radiator. The part number on my rad is worn off. Based on the picture I took, does it need replacing?

It probably doesn't need replacing if it isn't leaking. I replaced my problem prone Valeo @ 100K with a end tank separation. No signs of leaking into the transmission. I feel better about having the updated radiator

Probably not, but with the original 03 Valeo rads it's just a matter of when not if.
