hello i need to get a new radiator and a full transmission flush to save the transmission. can someone please let me know if this radiator will fit the e55 2003 amg vehicle: NISSEN 62796A

do i need to purchase anything else with this radiator? (radiator cap? thermostat?)
also if someone can please let me know what do i need to tell the mechanic if there is glycol in the transmission do i tell them to do a double flush? triple transmission fluid flush?
I am hoping rockauto is legit site, thanks all

good chance your tranny is already done or soon will be if the fibers in the clutches got contaminated with glycol. There is no drain on the torque converter on these cars, so you will need to probably flush twice. You can save a lot of money by buying the fluid on ebay or amazon yourself and just paying shop labor. do NOT use any universal fluid that says 'suitable for mercedes' like Valvoline maxlife. Only use an approved spec fluid like shell 134.

Are you using ATF 134? If so, you can get the fluid from a local shell distributor. That's usually cheaper than Amazon or eBay. I think you missed the Autozone clearance, they had some Pentosin ATF fluid that met ATF 134 spec for $2 a quart. The shell distributor is more like $5 a quart as the last time I got a case of 12 quarts for around $60. Online it's typically around $9-$10 and the dealer is sometimes $20 a quart. The site only lists headquarters, check each distributor as each one may have multiple sites in your state.
