2010 E63 -> 2012 E63 TT or C63 BS?
I currently own a 2010 E63 with some mods (listed below). Is it really worth going to E63 TT or CLS63 TT? I am thinking about either keeping my E63 or going with either E/CLS63 TT or C63 BS next year.
Any thoughts?

the e63 and the cls63 are both monsters.....add a tune to the p30 and you have more than enough hp and tq for the day's driving......
guess it boils down to what you want to see sitting outside...
the BS would obviously be more rare, and thus 'nicer' maybe......
but an everyday monster is always good too....
I myself am getting out of my current e63, 2011, non PP for a 2012 cls63 with the PP......
good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Granted E/CLS63 TT with P30 and tune would be much faster then my current ride, but then there are details like engine/exhaust sound, throttle response etc, suspension. Very tempting indeed. I really like the exhaust note on my current E63 with primary cat delete and ECU tune - truly prodigious sound.
One of the concerns is that TT engine is new and not battle tested as much as the NA 6.3 engine. I am sure there are plenty of bugs and glitches to be worked out.
I am going to test drive the E and CLS 63 and see how I feel ( wish I could test drive the C63 BS )

I agree about the E's sound, it's great, one of my favorite things about it....
I can only imagine what a cat delete would do
what kind of gains did you get from you ecu tune?

C63 BS if you do track frequently. For me who is not interested in further mods, '10 & '11 E63 are more than adequate. Yeah, the M157 is basically the 5.5 engine found in previous E550 and S550 but built up by AMG. That leaves M156 the only engine in history solely designed and completely built from the ground up by AMG.

Stock dyno at around 405 whp and ~460 whp after all the mods. I am not sure what the gains are form the ECU tune alone, maybe around 20-25 whp. Primary cat delete really opens up the car top end and makes the sound so much better.

My car with all the mods is about as quick as that tuned C63 (we ran many times 40-170). So stock vs stock 2012 E63 TT non-PP will beat NA E63. I am predicting that stock E63 TT PP will destroy stock NA E63.

Would love to see that too. A buddy of mine with a tuned C63 (tune only) ran a bone stock 2012 CLS63 TT non-PP and slowly pulled away (1/2-1 cars).

The only thing I would miss is the exhaust note, which I have to admit, is awesome.
