having trouble becoming a member, i put in my vin info etc and it just keeps turning me away.
anyone else have this issue

Yes. Just email the administrator with your info and they will fix it. They are in the process of switching out to a new international member site in the middle of the month and I think they are neglecting administration on the current site.

Parents bought the S's through the ages, i took over the w126 8-9 yrs ago, and been taking care of it since.

c320 is wife's but that will have to go now that the amg is here,

w140 has like 210000 on and the w220 has like 165K, time to move them on, i think

Not really. This is a much more active forum with a greater range of technical discussion on AMG cars.

The good things about the the APL are the corporate AMG posts and info that appear to be ahead of most of the automotive press. The APL gatherings and AMG sponsored track day info also appear to be a reason to join if you are interested in that.

Quite a classic collection of S's there. It looks like you folks really drive them around quite a bit--the way cars are made for.

4 generations strong. Kinda proud of that.

I think their next one will be an e tho. No need to have full size cars or one person. Plus pops can't get used to the w221 seats. He prefers the less sporty less rigid seats of the w140 & 220
