Thinking of refinishing my wheels.. Color suggestions?

Here is my current setup.
What I have in mind was to refinish it into Grigio Silverstone (similar to current setup but darker and gloss) or black (satin or gloss). Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

sheesh bro, looks good the way it is, but I understand needing a change........
if you go black, I'd go satin, that's what I have on my black car......
of course I did get some glossed ones too......they're on the way.....

good luck, thing looks great!

E,
What is the current color? How about brushed with tinted clear? BTW your car already looks awesome.

Right now it's brushed titanium or brushed gunmetal as they say, but matte.

@baldmike73, hyperion667, NickyBlack -- Or should I just change the caliper color?

Thanks

Looking fine the way it is right now. But when I saw the thread title, I was also thinking of satin black if you really have to refinish them.

Appreciate your input. The problem was my 2 front wheels were made in the wrong offset by ADV.1 (it was about 8mm inward from the fender) , so they sent me a new set of the fronts with corrected offset but THEN the color don't match with my 2 rear wheels.
So, they offered me to send over all 4 of my wheels to get refinished for free (in the same color). I thought, it's going to take too long I'm sure and it's a hustle for me to take my stock wheels from my storage and all that stuff. So, I decided I might as well refinish them myself to avoid all the hustle.

What about leaving the face of the spokes the color they are and blacking out the rest of the wheel? Maybe vinyl wrap your window trim and tops of the door handles, I just did it to my non amg w212, came out nice..Car looks sick as is though as is.

I'm not really a fan of two-tone wheels, but some do look nice. I'll look into it.
Regarding the window trim, I'm doing it tomorrow as well as light tint on the headlights and tailights

Thanks btw.

I was actually thinking about HRE's bronze, but I'm afraid it won't match the caliper color. Thoughts?

Personally, I would just put the stock wheels back on (since you still have them) and let them do the refinishing to save the headache.

That would look sick - caliper color could be a flat or satin black

Wheels look great as they are. Don't go darker. Never understood the murdered out thing - black wheels always look awful.

If you do something, go lighter. If you change to an old racing-gold type of color, see if there's a factory wheel setup (maybe like the old BBS-style 70s colors) - but definitely change your caliper color.

I know it's impractical, but I love white brake calipers. Would probably look out of place in your current setup (and certainly clash with a gold/bronze). Unfortunately it's only really an option on CCB setups.

I say keep the wheels in the current finish. They're aggressive but in a subtler manner.

I understand, but I have to refinish the wheels since the 2 new fronts are not the same color as the rears. I would say going with Grigio Silverstone would set it off -- which is similar to the current finish and most of people said it looks good as is. Going with bronze/gold would cost more money since I have to change my caliper color, and I would be selling this car by the end of the year or beginning of next year so I'm not looking to spend more money on this car that I don't really need. Plus the fact that I really like how it looks like right now with addition of blacking out the chrome trim, refinishing just the wheels would make it.

- Thanks for the comments and concerns guys. Really helps

P.S. - The HRE wheels on Vic55's wagon looks unique on satin black

+1 Let ADV do the work and make it perfect. They're good guys and they want to make it right. I know becuase they are refinishing my wheels too!

IMO it's more hassle to DIY.

Whatever you decide post pics when you are done. Beautiful ride you got there.

It's not a hassle for me to DIY or refinish it myself, just money out of my pocket. It would probably take about 3 days to refinish the whole set of wheels. I know that they want to make it right, but I don't want to risk the time it takes them to refinish my wheels. It will be a headache for me (thinking when my wheels are going to be done) since I hate waiting and I've waited for the wheels long enough.
How long your wheels have been with them for refinishing?

I will post pics when I'm done. Cheers.

Come to think of it, it's been a couple weeks now, but they had a do-over during refinishing and on principle alone, I'd rather be patient and have them perfect than spend any more $ out of pocket to get what I expected the first time. Believe me, I have waited a LONG time for them.

I understand. Well, some people have different preferences. I just don't want to be with no wheels--risking the time it takes to refinish them and I only own this wheels or put them on my car a few months old. Also, it's coming to a point where I'm going to sell the car, so getting it done fast and enjoying it fully are my concern
