Since the builder is on the MB Canada website I'm playing arround with some combinations of colors/options etc... I was inititially between diamond white and obsidian black but now I'm strarting to like the Cavansite blue with beige interior and CCB.

I know that the color on the configurator is not representative 100% so I was wondering if a pre 2014 cavansite blue owner out there could share some real life pictures... I don't think the car is refoundable if I dont like the color

color names are different on canadian and US sites... canada = coveline and cavensite blue, US = lunar and indigo blue...

colors dont seem to be the same either... indigo looks almost black, as cavensite (the "darker" canadian color) looks like lunar blue. Confusing that they would offer differnet colors only in the blue spectrum as all the other colors are the same!

Look up the color codes for those names to see if they are infact the same color. I don't know why MB Canada and MB usa use different names for the same color.

Cavansite blue does look sharp on the builder.

Here is a vid of a wagon, looks much darker in real life to me.

I saw a cavansite GL at the dealership...looks much darker in person. Almost like a metallic navy blue with a hint of purple.

So cavansite blue in canada is indigo in us and coveline is lunar... The configurator's colors are way off in canada... Usa looks more realistic. Thanks for the info i'll stick to white or black i think...

Thanks for the pics Canuck! I have to agree it looks good... I want a sleeper so blue is quite suble. I'm going to consider it seriously. Should look nice with beige interior... What color did you go with interior?

The blue is very subtle and dark and really only shows when the sun hits it. The day I took the pics was very sunny. The dark tint also helps it look darker than it really is. Blue is my favourite color and I've somehow managed to get blue-bluish colored cars the last 3 cars!

I have the black interior. I was contemplating the beige interior as I had this color combo in my Range Rover and loved it. In the end, I just wasn't brave enough as I have a kid now ( the reason I got this wagon) and seeing how my nephews destroyed and continue to destroy my brother's cars, I ended up going with the safe black.

I ear you about kids... 2 of them here! My back seat looks like a war zone! I found that black leather sometimes shows more dirt than lighter colors... I just went to dealer today and found out it's possible to order designo interiors at minimum cost since AMG decided to make designo more "affordable" to AMG owners in 2014. I looked at some samples of nice brown leather and I think it's a good compromise... for sure the standard beige is really light!
