Vossen Project 2014 E63 S "Banging Wagon"| Stage III RENNtech
Hi everyone,
The team at Vossen is extremely excited to start this build thread! In the past Vossen has completed multiple mild builds which have always gotten rave reviews for being clean, simple yet well executed. One example was our
. In some cases we have added power to our builds like the CLS 63 or our current W222 S550 We are always happy to work with RENNtech who has been an amazing partner for us. They have always provided an amazing, reliable product while also meeting our customer service expectations. After much internal discussion the decision was made to build something truly unique yet still aligning with our Vossen core principles. We also wanted to challenge ourselves and our partners on this next project car as it would be our first full build with a focus on adding performance.
Enter our 2014 E63 S "Banging Wagon"....special ordered with a full Stage III RENNtech build to be completed.
This thread will have regular pictures, videos and updates on this out of the ordinary build and maybe some of you can guess what the final HP figure will be.
Well I blew this one didn't I....sorry things have been amazingly hectic.. Here is the E63 being raced by RENNtech at the Las Vegas Speedway the day after SEMA!
What was the HP goal? And actual whp #'s? Looks great! Though if you were primarily concerned w/big hp/tq & racing it? The skinny rubber band lowpro tires & big wheels are not going to help you put all that extra Renntech power down on pavement whatsoever.. Some wide 18"s or 19"s @ very least on fat tires is the answer here..

Looks like an aero package probably made-in Renntech. Not too sure to like it. They haven't offered the prettiest kit on the market so far... remember the C74 ...
Performance wise that thing should be another monster

Hey Thericker, we will post all results shortly. We went back and forth between switching wheels/tires for the event but decided to run with our VF/Series which are 20x9 and 20x10.5 flow forming technology wheels as the 19s were not here yet. I agree it is not an optimum setup for the track.
We will actually be developing lighter, forged Vossen Precision Series wheels for this high performance AMG and we have also begun initial engineering for a possible race spec forged Vossen Wheel.

For one a full turbo build and many other goodies we will share very shortly, including a couple of videos, one being a full documentary.

This is correct, a new aero kit for the E63 and ours will be in full carbon fiber. The car is currently back at RENNtech for some more engineering.
