After owning for 4 years without any problems of my E63 W212 E63 AMG 2009 I decided to renew a design and technical items of my car up to face-lifted model Е63 2013.
Taking into consideration that selling my car and buying a new car will cost 100 000 USD of additional expenses I think that my idea looks reasonable and economically efficient.Who has another opinion don't judge me for that.
What I want to change:
- Hood, Front and rear bumpers, headlights, sideskirts.
- change Command Head Unit (HU) from NTG4.0 to NTG4.7 (NTG4.5 third generation - where we will have full IPhone integration)
- changing instrumental cluster (panel);

But I would like to change the letters V8 BITURBO for 6.3 V8. The instrumental panel of С63 AMG has correct lettering - 6.3 V8. It looks like dimensions of tachometer looks the same. May be it is possible to change???
Guys from another forum has made the top conversion but part of the works were done officially at Brabus (and of course this is very deep conversion (tunning) with engine mods etc). BUT LOOKS AWESOME

I started to work with them and ordered a kit. They are really good in that, they clearly understand what you need for conversion according to your car VIN-number and give you full list of equipment, BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING CONVERSION AT THE MOMENT - ONLY SELLING KITS. They also do not provide you with installation instruction for headlights (only for taillights).
The electrical problems of connecting and programming SAM is the biggest problem of this conversion!!!!
For general understanding what is needed I am giving the list parts that has to be changed or added. BUT THIS IS ONLY FOR MY CAR!!! The exact list of parts for your car should be personally and professionally made according to your car VIN number!!!! E63 Front grille

For your information in W212 after 09/2013 there are four styling packages:
- for E63 (see page 8,9,10)
- for E63 S-model (see page 8,9)
- Carbon Exterior trim package (see page 19)

If i have a 2013 preface lift are the back taillights a direct swap to the new ones?
I don't know but I saw that Mercteil has such a package for 2013 year version http://www.mercteil.com/en/products/...-kit-w212-2013
and they are not offering to change taillight.
You have old version of tail lights?
If yes that it mean that you have another connections (and need to reprogramm SAM to put new tail lights. But anyway it is better to check it at MB service.

That is a hell lot of work... I have seen a guy in HK who converted his 2011 E63 Wagon to the facelifted one, looks perfect. But I doubt the headlight and taillight are plug and play.
BTW, I really like the new CLS steering wheel, any idea how much it would cost and any coding required to install on our E63?

Please do post how you plan to go about the wiring for the lights. And since you're ordering all of these parts, you should totally go for the carbon fiber exterior package!
Do you plan on facelifting the interior trim as well? The large piece on the dash with the air vents and clock are now a different design as well.

Not too much. Total price of all conversion is about $12 000 if you don't need SAM and fenders (http://www.mercteil.com/en/products/...-facelift-2013). But I ordered only front and side parts for 6500 Euro. Because I still doubt about converting back of the car. Because I already have a MBSport OE taillights and Vorstainer diffuser. Still thinking

Keep in mind prices all around the world are different than in the US. In his original post he already said it'd cost him "$100,000 in additional costs" to switch to the facelifted car.
