I took how my current 507 C63 drives and my friends e350, merged the two together and added some more power plus 4matic in my mind, and couldn't find a reason why this wouldn't be pure awesome.
Add, to your E350 impressions dramatically more grip, more precise steering and much sharper suspension. It doesn't sound quite as raucous as the C63 but it still has a loud and mean engine intake and exhaust noise. Oh and much better acceleration than C63 from a stop.

I have a very important question now is the E63 AMG built in Germany? So when you put your order through any dealer in the US is your car being built in the US or Germany? The reason why am asking is I want to know if there's a difference in the quality of the car! Now I'm here in Germany and they are saying that The cars that being built here (Mercedes) are better quality!!

Your comments are important to me

You understand the concept of how AMG operates, yes? (AMG is in Affalterbach, Germany)

Ordered Renntech full tune and sport mufflers for my incoming E63 S. Renntech Sport mufflers are cheaper and offer more power gains than the downpipes on the 2014-15 E63 And E63 S. Total claimed power is 716 bhp and 859 lbs-ft of torque.

Excited.

Holy!!! That's crazy power! Do you think it would have any side effect on the long run on the engine? See for me, I've never thought about tuneing any of my cars.

Yes the claimed power of the Renntech full tune is 701 bhp and 839 lbs-ft of torque (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/1298). The claimed power gain of the Renntech sport mufflers is 15 bhp and 20 lbs-ft (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/1304). Hence the 716 bhp and 859 lbs-ft of torque total power. And Renntech is conservative in its power estimates. Should be good enough to drop the quarter mile times into the 10s -- especially running the forged HRE RS101 wheels that are coming to me this month.

I would expect that the tune would reduce the life of the engine and drivetrain. But not by all that much as I will not be tracking this car and won't be doing much drag racing or airstrip runs (I might do a few but that's it). The main use of the power will be for better acceleration onto the highway or passing.

I will not be doing a turbo upgrade which unquestionably would shorten the engine/drivetrain lift a lot more than a tune and mufflers due to the greatly increased power. I am not doing the Renntech down pipe -- nearly $5000 for a downpipe with sport cats for a 10 bhp, 15 lbs-ft gain does not seem like a good value proposition (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/1310). The mod is mostly for noise and the muffler mod is much cheaper, increases the exhaust sound and has a greater power gain. Did not think it was worth the extra bucks.

Also setting up paint protection.

Going to do Xpel clear bra (http://www.xpel.com/products/xpel_ul...ction_film.asp) on the entire front end (hood, bumper, fender), mirrors and rocker panels. And going to have Opticoat Pro (http://www.theultimatecarcare.com/opti-coat-pro/) put on the entire car (no more waxing)! Total cost of that is about $2500. Nothing looks better than an Opticoated car.

Also, HRE is going to do a professional photo shoot of the car when I put on my HR RS 101 wheels (http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series-rs1/rs101) in spring 2015. Should be fun. And there is very few RS101 pictures on HRE's website.

I'm going to do the same with Xpel and coating. Additional areas I'll get Xpel will be on the lower part of the front and rear doors. I'm going to use the crease line at the bottom to be the break for the film as this part is susceptible to rock chips from the front wheels. I'm also considering the A pillars, door handle cups, and rear bumper. All CF exterior parts on mine will also be covered.

Have you considered Clearplex windshield film as well? It's like Xpel but for glass.

No better way to go than the ceramic coating, soon as my car arrives, going right to my buddy to do the entire car including windows and wheels. He removes all the paint impurities with two treatments (gets the railroad dust out) and then seals it. Did this on the current car and love it, never wax again and lasts forever.

Thanks. Car will be produced in November and arrives in January. Will put on Xpel and opticoat immediately. Renntech tune and sport mufflers (sport mufflers arrive today) will go on immediately. Will upgrade stereo immediately as well. HRE RS101 wheels, which arrive this week or next, will go on in late April when our weather turns warm again. Going to run the staggered Pirelli Sottozero snow tires (which have already arrived) on the OEM titanium 10 spone wheels for the winter.

Finally got a production date on the car -- December 11, 2014 -- a Thursday. Car will arrive at the dealer by the end of January. It is a month later than what the dealer had originally stated it was likely to be. I am guessing it is the Designo leather and wood.

Mine was scheduled to arrive Nov 4 and has now been rescheduled to Dec 1, because of the Designo interior.

Shakespeare said most of the excitement of something is in the anticipation rather than the actual acquisition; i would disagree with him on this one

It's sweeter to have the e63 than anticipate it's acquisition

The waiting is bearable. But I am very pissed about not being able to get the forged wheels despite putting in an order in early September. Dealer says due to supply issues forged wheels not available until after February. I was like WTF?

When you swap rims, maybe throw the 10 spoke benz rim on a scale and lemme know how much it weighs, I'm curious.
