Oil Temperature Color Change
So I know the oil temperature color display starts out in Blue when the motor is cold and then turns to White when it reaches 175 degrees to match the White coolant display but what is the reason for this? I started out this morning with ambient air temperature in the mid 40s heading up a mountain and it took almost 20 miles for the oil temperature to finally get up to the 175 mark and change color to White. Does it have anything to do with limiting power? Can't feel any difference. Is it supposed to be some type of cautionary warning and if so why not have the color in Yellow instead of Blue? Thanks in advance.

My Eco works sometimes on a cold engine right off the bat on a fresh start... Not sure of the logic behind this. This was the case with both my 2014 e550's as well
I of course switch it off or switch into s or s+ ... Need to warm up that engine
