Hi, guys:
Anyone has experience of taking off the front bumper of facelift E63? Need to take it off to have access of the front grille for vinyl wrap, too hard to wrap when it is on the car. Thanks in advance.

I got the front and rear bumper diagram as well as the headlight diagram for a preface W212 if you think that'll help with your facelift W212 project.

Last summer I had the same idea in mind to wrap my front grille. So I went ahead and ordered on ebay MB WIS CD (all the instructions to take appart your car)... after looking at the steps to remove front bumper (on non-amg car you can remove only the grille) I decided to wrap the grille "in situ". Was not that hard actually...

Hope this will help, but please keep in mind this is for a preface AMG E63.







I changed my grille on my E350 and its was really simple. There are 2 or 3 taps at the bottom on the grille that needs to be pushed out towards you and 2 or 3 taps at the top of the grille that needs to be pulled up towards you and out comes the grille. My E350 didn't have distronic so it was really easy. I think my E63 with distronic just need to disconnect the distronic wiring and you should be good to go. Good luck.
